I think that whole scene kind of slipped under the radar but this is absolutely amazing social skills here. He basically single-handedly managed to make her take one huge self-development step forward, into learning to take a decision and be comfortable with it.
And the whole sequence didn't even feel forced -though she is *very* receptive to his magic-, it was really just the push she needed to boost her self-confidence.

Imagine yourself in his shoes, could you pull off any of that for a friend? Even someone you know well, it takes tremendous qualities to listen, be empathetic and understand, analyze and communicate a solution like that.
